About Us

I began painting on the beach in Ventura, California in 1978.  After years of doing a variety of new construction, remodel, and suburban projects, my work progressed into the finer residential painting along the beach and hillsides of neighboring Santa Barbara.

Working in such communities as Montecito and Hope Ranch, I learned very early in my career about the importance of painting it right the first time and taking pride in  the finished product. I have spent many hours to days on meticulous prep work and have learned to pay attention to details such as the products used and the designs my customers have in mind.
In1991, I moved to the Pacific Northwest and my world of painting changed in a big way. I was no longer painting mostly stucco homes with elastomeric products. Instead, I became familiar with the variety of siding materials used in the Northwest and the proper preparation and application of products to them. Oregon has worked to broaden my career knowledge and expertise.

As for my interiors, I was fortunate to meet and work alongside a few of Portland's top interior designers and color consultants.  I no longer walk through a home painting room by room, color by color. Instead, I've learned to make color flow throughout the home, taking notice of unique angles and architectural design. I work to draw attention to what is most important to the client, such as a family or wedding picture or a piece of artwork. Perhaps you have a picture window, a special piece of furniture, or a mantle or fireplace that needs color to help it stand out? By working and painting with contemporary accent colors I can draw attention to those areas.

My business has grown to serve areas throughout Portland, Bend and Redmond. I've been fortunate to paint numerous homes in various Street of Dreams neighborhoods such as Marylhurst, Barrington Heights, Bull Mountain, Mount Scott, Kruse Way, and Dunthorpe.

With the support of my loving wife, Tammy, and the motivation of my seven children, I continue to work with my clientele to provide excellence in both interior and exterior painting. I invite all interested customers to contact me with your next painting challenge.
